Imaging Services

VOA's Full System of Care Includes Imaging Services
VOA's imaging services include an advanced digital radiography system and MRI. Radiography (or x-ray) is the simplest way for a physician to determine bone injury or disease, such as a fracture or arthritis. With comprehensive imaging services, your orthopedic physician can effectively diagnose your condition and determine the best course of treatment.
Digital radiography is state-of-the-art x-ray that provides more detail than traditional x-ray. Digital radiography also reduces patient wait time by eliminating the need to develop film. VOA physicians are able to quickly access digital x-ray images at various computer stations.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) allows VOA physicians to diagnose conditions that x-ray does not pick up, such as ligament tears or tissue injury. Safe and painless magnetic and radio waves produce high-resolution images for diagnosing bone, tissue, joint, and musculoskeletal conditions.
