VOA Supports Renton River Days

VOA is a proud supporter of the 27th Annual Renton River Days, July 27-29, 2012 in Liberty Park. The festival is a multi-day family event celebrating community pride. Gather with family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy the amenities and activities that make Renton an outstanding community in which to live, work, and play! This celebration offers a wonderful variety of events, including kids activities, arts and crafts, recreation, food, and stage entertainment.

Dr. Veith’s Humanitarian Care in Third World Countries

Dr. Veith and his colleagues at Seattle's Prosthetic Outreach Foundation have been helping to ensure that children and adults with limb loss or limb deformities in developing countries have access to high-quality orthopedic and physical rehabilitation services, so that they can enjoy lifelong mobility. Children and adults suffer from disability and deformities from various causes such as traumatic injuries resulting from land mines or traffic accidents, and from disabilities they were born with such as polio, cerebral palsy, and club feet.

Complimentary Valet Parking for VOA Patients

Since January 2012, VOA provides complimentary valet parking services, so visiting orthopedic patients don't have to search for a parking space. Valets are located at the valet booth in the parking lot of the Talbot Professional Center, where VOA is located. Our goal is to provide comfort and convenience to all of our patients and their families.

National Health Awareness Celebrations in May

Did you know that May is National Arthritis Awareness month, Osteoporosis Awareness and Prevention month, and Physical Fitness and Sports Medicine month? And let’s not forget that Wednesday, May 30, 2012 is Senior Health and Fitness Day. Promote better orthopedic health awareness by spreading the word about these celebrations and the orthopedic care available for these and other conditions. Know your risk factors and stay on top of treatments and preventative care.
